NBA Star Myles Turner: From Playing Center to Cosplaying Han Solo

There are not many NBA players who proudly display their hobbies. Many look for the best cars or the most intense festivals, but some simply seek to emulate their heroes behind the screen. One of them is Myles Turner, the center of the Indiana Pacers, who did not hesitate to dress as Han Solo to celebrate Star Wars Night on December 20.

And Turner truly worships the franchise. There have been many times in which he has appeared in the pavilion cosplaying his heroes. Tonight he was accompanied by his girlfriend, dressed as Princess Leia. On other occasions it is his friends and even his sister who accompany him in this ritual to the field.

It has been the Indiana Pacers account on X (the old Twitter) that has been responsible for reminding its fans of Turner’s other cosplays. For his first time he chose a classic: dressed in black with the Darth Vader mask and red lightsaber. Next to him were two friends dressed as soldiers of the Empire. Seeing him arrive impresses any rival. The hardest cosplay was the one after. The player dressed as the Mandalorian in great detail, including the sword and his Baby Yoda in his bag. He was accompanied by Ashoka, who was his sister, in a truly spectacular outfit. Behind them appeared a couple of friends like Tusken raiders. The rest is history.

Star Wars is not his only passion. Turner is also an avid LEGO figure builder. His collection has the most expensive Star Wars builds and other custom ones. He has a box putting a mate made up of pieces from a block. His masterpiece is a life-size reproduction of the figure of him dressed in Darth Vader’s armor. Almost nothing.
