Roster news from Heidenheim: Klaus Eckle reveals the first new addition to the Stealers Podcast

In the Hamburg Stealers’ new video podcast ‘TV Talk’, Jens Hawlitzky and David Wohlgemuth speak live on YouTube every second Tuesday with guests from the German baseball scene about the Baseball Bundesliga, the German national team and other interesting topics from baseball in Germany.
In yesterday’s episode, Klaus Eckle, manager of the reigning German champions – Heidenheim Heideköpfe – was a guest. When asked by Hawlitzky about new additions to the Heideköpfe, Eckle confirmed that Nateshon Thomas will play in Heidenheim next season. According to Eckle’s statement, there have been discussions with the infielder about a move to Brenz for years.
Thomas has been playing in the 1st Baseball Bundesliga since 2015. In 2017, the British native moved from the Bad Homburg Hornets to Munich, for whom he played for the following seven seasons.
Aside from the departure of Mitch Franke, there are currently no other confirmed roster updates in Heidenheim.
