The Municipal Sports Directorate launched the invitation to all children and young people who want to join its Basketball Academy, which will be based in the facilities of the “Garita de Jalisco” Comprehensive Sports Center:
The project headed by the Government of the Capital, through the Sports Directorate, will have professional basketball player Juan Luis Ramírez, former national team player and player in the National Basketball League, as well as CIBACOPA, as coach.
Juan Luis Ramírez Herrera will be responsible for training and guiding the children and young people who join the project, highlighting that he will begin to work with those who meet, and then integrate them into groups by category.
Training will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The objective of the project is to continue encouraging physical activity, generate sports alternatives with new academies and, above all, give citizens, especially youth, free options in which they can practice a sport.
Thus, once again the project of Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos to work for free with citizens is a reality, thanks to the executions carried out by the Sports Directorate, headed by Luis Fernando Alonso Molina, which opens a new academy for the people of Potosí.
