Minnesota Vikings to Face Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15 Saturday Matchup

EAGAN, Minn. – The NFL on Thursday announced the Minnesota Vikings will visit the Cincinnati Bengals at noon (CT) on Saturday, Dec. 16, for their Week 15 game.

The matchup was one of five Week 15 games initially listed as to be determined when the schedule was announced in May. It will open a tripleheader of TV coverage by NFL Network.

Pittsburgh will visit Indianapolis at 3:30 p.m. (CT), and Denver will visit Detroit at 7:15 p.m. (CT).

Chicago’s game at Cleveland and Atlanta’s game at Carolina were the other two options for being played on Saturday. Both have been slotted for noon (CT) Sunday.

The Vikings are 20-10 all-time in Saturday games, including 11-3 at home and 9-7 on the road. Minnesota hosted two Saturday contests in 2022, breaking a record for greatest halftime comeback in NFL history (against Indianapolis) and toppling the New York Giants in back-to-back weeks last December.

Minnesota and Cincinnati have each won seven games in their 14-game series. The Vikings won the only previous Saturday game contest between the teams, prevailing 20-14 on Dec. 17, 1983.

The Vikings have never lost a home game to the Bengals but are just 1-7 when playing in Cincinnati.
