Miami Heat’s Victory Over Golden State Warriors: A Tribute to the Underdogs

Los Miami Heat They paid a real tribute to Golden State Warriors in San Francisco despite its significant losses (Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry y Caleb Martin) with a solid poker formed by Tyler Herro (26 points and 7 rebounds), the Mexican Jaime Jaquez Jr. (17 points and 6 assists), Bam Adebayo (17 points and 11 rebounds) and Jamal Cain (18 points and 6 rebounds).

Jáquez had the difficult mission of replacing Butler and once again showed that the pressure is not on him. Beyond his contribution reflected in his good numbers to achieve the final victory by 114 a 102 at home, the Mexican also showed signs of his quality and self-confidence in his first season in the NBA with a assist between the legs of Jonathan Kuminga which was the best of the night.

For the Miami Heat it means the fourth victory in a rowa seguidilla that takes on more value since it coincides with the number of absences of its star Jimmy Butler by a discomfort in his left calf. Kyle Lowry (soreness), Caleb Marin (sprained right ankle) and Josh Richardson (back discomfort) also did not play against the Warriors.

Stephen Curry’s Warriors are in trouble

Although the season is long and there is still more than half to be played, there is no doubt that at this point Stephen Curry and company imagined the Warriors in another more comfortable position within the Western Conference and not with more defeats than victories.

Golden State accumulated eight consecutive wins at home and they held on to that good streak to believe in the definitive recovery but the Miami Heat returned it to its painful reality and today one of the best teams of recent years is being left out of the Playoffs.

The Warriors’ offense was a disaster, so much so that Stephen Curry (3 of 15 in shots) and Klay Thompson (4 of 11) were Golden State’s top scorers with only 13 points.
