Mexican Archery Teams Advance to Final at 2023 Pan American Games

Las Mexican Women’s and Men’s Archery Teams They advanced to the final of the Recurve Bow event, where they will compete for the gold medal, in their different categories, against the United States at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

The Mexicans Alejandra Valencia, Aída Román and Ángela Ruiz (Valentina Vázquez as reserve), defeated Venezuela 6-0 in the Quarterfinals. The nationals totaled 161 points and in each game they had two set points.

In the semifinals, the Mexicans faced Brazil, a duel that went to four games and was defined with the following scores: 54-52, 57-51, 55-58 and 53-48.

The duel for the medal oro in between mexican and Americans will be next Saturday, November 4 at the Archery Center, at 7:50 in the morning.

For its part, in the manly branch (Carlos Rojas, Matías Grande and Caleb Urbina) beat Cuba 6-2 and Colombia 5-3 to get their place in the final, which will also be played next Saturday, but at approximately 8:40 in the morning.
