The Gisa Lions MBC basketball players are heading into the Christmas break with a win. In the last game before the festival, the Halle team prevailed against Göttingen.
The Gisa Lions MBC started the second half of the season successfully. Head coach Timur Topal’s team won 75:67 (35:34) against medical instinct VEILCHEN BG 74 Göttingen on Friday evening.
Direct comparison to Halle

“We started the game well, but then lost the thread. Our shooting percentage wasn’t good, but we still found a way to win. What was good and important was how we ended the game,” explained Topal after the game . His team’s best thrower was captain Joyce Cousseins-Smith with 14 points and six rebounds. In the cup against defending champions Hannover
It has also been clear since this week who the Halle team will have to face in the quarter-finals of the DBBL Cup. In the last open round of 16, defending champions TK Hannover Luchse beat German champions Rutronik Stars Keltern 58:57 and are therefore their next opponents.
