Adapted sport concerns people affected by a form of intellectual disability and/or psychological disorders. The Marie-Pire association allows residents of its establishments to practice various disciplines, badminton being undoubtedly one of the most emblematic.
It is in fact in this sport that the association organized the French adapted badminton championship for the first time in 2021 and, at a time when Covid was still very present, 84 athletes registered.
