As is known, Messi and his family bought a mansion in Fort Lauderdale, more precisely in the private Bay Colony neighborhood, for more than ten million dollars. Beyond all the luxuries that the place has, there was a specific reason that led Leo to make such a purchase.

“We are in Fort Lauderdale, this place is called Bay Colony. We are very close to the stadium. It took us 20 minutes with traffic. All the homes that are there cost millions of dollars, but in the surrounding area it is a fairly discreet place,” they began in a video published on Oscar Alejandro’s account.
“Messi’s house is not very normal. It cost him 10.7 million dollars. “It is an old urbanization, all the houses were built in 1960,” they continued. Then they did explain the central reason why Leo opted for that mansion and not another.
