The Copa América United States 2024 will be played in 14 stadiums in thirteen cities, which will host the 32 matches between June 20 and July 14, Conmebol reported this Monday.

The opening game will have the Argentine team (A1), defending champion and last world championbefore the team drawn from location A4, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, state of Georgia, with capacity for 71,000 spectators; while the final will be played in the Hard Rock Stadium de Miami, Florida, which is home to about 75,540 people. Argentina’s second game will be in New Jersey and the third, in Miami,

* Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas (Nevada): 65,000 spectators (3 matches: 2 in the group stage and 1 in the quarterfinals).

* Hard Rock Stadium, Miami (Florida): 75,540 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and final).

* Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara (California):68,500 spectators (2 group stage matches)

* Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta (Georgia): 71,000 spectators (2 group stage matches)

* MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford (New Jersey): 82,500 spectators (3 matches: 2 group stage and one semi-final).

* NRG Stadium, Houston (Texas): 72,200 spectators (3 matches: 2 in the group stage and 1 in the quarterfinals).

* Q2 Stadium, Austin (Texas): 20,700 spectators (2 group stage matches).

* SoFi Stadium, Inglewood (California): 70,000 spectators (2 group stage matches).

* State Farm Stadium, Glendale (Arizona): 63,400 spectators (3 matches: 2 in the group stage and 1 in the quarterfinals).

What will the tournament be like?

The group stage will be played from June 20 to July 2, the quarterfinals from July 4 to 6, the semifinals on July 9 and 10, third place on July 13, and finally, the final on July 14.

As confirmed by Conmebol, according to the dynamics of the competition, two groups will play in the west and center of the country, and two groups in the east and center. The competition will move towards the east, the quarterfinals will be played in the west and the center; while the semi-final and final will take place in the east.

The Copa América United States 2024 The ten selected teams from Conmebol plus six from Concacaf will play it. Four of them are already confirmed (United States, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama) and the remaining two will come from two keys to be played next March (Canada vs. Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica vs. Honduras).

This 48th. edition of the tournament will have 16 participants for the second time in its history, as happened in the Centennial edition (2016), also celebrated in the United States.

The competition table will be drawn this Thursday with the countries ordered as follows: Argentina (A1), Mexico (B1), United States (C1) and Brazil (D1), pot 1; Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru (pot 2); Chile, Panama, Venezuela and Paraguay (pot 3); Jamaica, Bolivia, Concacaf 5 and Concacaf 6 (pot 4).
