Kristaps Porzingis Out of NBA In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals Due to Calf Injury

Kristaps Porzingis will not play the game of quarterfinals of the NBA in-season tournament of hers Boston Celticsagainst the Indiana Pacers. The Latvian player is still struggling with the calf injury that kept him out for the whole of last week, one left calf strain.

Injury dating back to Last November 24th and that in the early hours it didn’t seem like a long thing for Porzings. However, he has a history of injuries in his career, which is why they chose caution in Boston.

The Celtics will challenge the Pacers at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the first quarter-final of the NBA mid-season tournament, in the second game the New Orleans Pelicans will take the field against the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center.

In 15 regular season games played, Kristaps Porzings has thus far traveled to Averaged 18.9 points and 6.7 rebounds and 34% three-point shooting, the Celtics (15-4) are first in the Eastern Conference ahead of the Orlando Magic and Milwaukee Bucks.
