After the warm-up phase and repetitions from the last day of training, things got serious for two judoka from the beginner group.
Seraphine Hirschlein and Nils Möller were invited to the center of the mat for their Kyu exam. There they showed their coach and official judo examiner, Michael Frömmert, the standing and ground judo techniques they had already learned. It was also a task to master the fall school that is required for this Kyugrad. Knowledge about judo values and partner behavior was a given.
Both have passed their exam and will wear the yellow/white belt with their judo uniform in the future.
At the end, the popular mat games were played and, in keeping with the times, each judoka received a chocolate Santa Claus as a farewell.
The beginner group (6 to 12 years old) trains every Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. in the Lindenhalle. There is no training during holidays and public holidays.
