Saturday December 16, the Judo club organized its traditional Christmas cup at the Georges-Brassens home in Camont.
Pedro Llinares and his sons, judo teachers in the clubs of Saint-Martin-de-Valgégales, Ales, Saint-Ambroix, brought together 110 children from 3 years old to participate in this event. It is particularly for the youngest that this Christmas cup is organized, because their young age does not allow them to participate in traditional fights and competitions.
The fact remains that through games and other activities on the mat, they were rewarded like the greatest with a medal and a diploma offered by the municipality, all the more appreciated by young athletes because they are often the first they receive.
Note the initiative of Pedro Llinares who this year asked parents to join their children on the tatami for friendly fights, this has much more for young judokas. Santa Claus gave the children a snack and treats.
