After the call announced on Monday, December 4 in the afternoon hours by Néstor Lorenzo for the last two friendlies of Colombia in 2023. There were people on social networks who endorsed the decision of the Technical Body of the National Team, and others who did not like the call of some players at all.
Given this context, controversy began between renowned sports journalists, César Augusto Londoño and Carlos Antonio Vélez, regarding the Argentine coach’s decision for the matches against Venezuela and Mexico respectively.

Immediately after the call came out, the first to speak out was the journalist from Win Sports and RCN, Carlos Antonio Vélez, who called Lorenzo’s list as unnecessary and also as a show of triumphalism on the part of the players who were called.

However, and as a kind of response to Vélez’s controversial comment, the sports journalist, César Augusto Londoño, also came out in support of Néstor Lorenzo regarding the call of the players for these two friendlies. Stating that there are people who like “Fuck” because of everything the coach of the Colombian National Team does or does not do.
“Doubting Lorenzo’s call for two poorly scheduled friendly matches outside of FIFA dates means you want to fuck with J.
