Jong FC Utrecht has not yet been defeated at home this season. On Friday evening, Ivar van Dinteren’s men receive FC Eindhoven.
FC Utrecht’s promising team has already achieved impressive victories at home over FC Groningen, Roda JC, De Graafschap and SC Cambuur, as FC Eindhoven coach Willem Weijs also knows. The coach expects a difficult game. “No one likes to play these kinds of matches (against Young teams),” he looks ahead Eindhovens Dagblad.
Jong FC Utrecht fares less well in away matches, which means they are sixteenth in the KKD. Still, Weijs is impressed by Friday’s opponent. “They are fit, have tactics and have played in a good academy for years,” he notes. “You don’t just roll that up.”
The match at Sports Complex Zoudenbalch starts on Friday evening at 8 p.m.
