Jens Lehmann: Trifles with a chainsaw

Jens Lehmann is said to have sawed a wooden beam in a neighbor’s garage. In court, however, the former national goalkeeper sees himself as a victim.

When Jens Lehmann was asked about his profession at the start of the trial, he replied: “unemployed football coach”. Which of course doesn’t adequately explain why a dozen journalists and three TV camera teams are waiting for him in a room at the Starnberg district court. Jens Lehmann is a 61-time national goalkeeper. He has won championships in Germany, England and Italy.
