Van Hecke is probably the best Dutch defender on the bal. Unbelievable calm!

#Premierleaguedazn De Zerbi said that he had not seen an evolution of a footballer like that of Van Hecke, and I couldn’t agree more with him.

If Jan Paul van Hecke can clean up some of his sloppy moments with the ball, and work on his upper body strength, then there’s a really good player there.
A front-footed defender, strong at baiting pressure, and then has the technical ability to play out of it. A rough diamond. pic.twitter.com/nkqyZXgPPz

Jan Paul van Hecke is in his ninth Premier League match in a row during the battle with Tottenham Hotspur. He played all ninety minutes of the previous eight. It’s rare how every step of this Brighton project was correct. Zeeland is experiencing sensational developments.

Van Hecke is a proper baller.

Very good, would be cool by the way, a “Bredase” defense in Orange, van Hecke and van Dijk.

Brighton – Tottenham
Goals from Jack Hinshelwood and Joao Pedro (penalty) gave Brighton a 2-0 lead against Tottenham after 45 minutes. The field play of Roberto de Zebri’s team was excellent and the game image remained one-sided in the second half. A world-class goal from Pervis Estupinan made the score 3-0 after about an hour of football.
Pedro made another contribution from the spot more than ten minutes later: 4-0. A defeat for Tottenham was prevented by two quick goals from Alejo Véliz and Ben Davies. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was even able to make the game exciting in the final phase, but the Ajax transfer target hit the post. The game thus ended 4-2.
