James Harden Joins Elite NBA 25,000 Point Club

Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden achieved another milestone on Friday night. The 34-year-old scored his 25,000 point in the 121:113 win against the Golden State Warriors and is now a member of an elite circle.

23 players have managed to score at least 25,000 points in the 77-year history of the NBA – now another has been added.

In the win against the Golden State Warriors (121:113) on Friday night, James Harden, who has already played for five different franchises in his career, broke this mark.

“The Beard” scored 28 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to their sixth straight win.

25,000 points: LeBron James, Kevin Durant and now James Harden

Of the active NBA players, only two have broken this barrier: James Harden’s former teammate Kevin Durant and LeBron James, who has been leading the list of players with the most points ever scored (39,234) since last year.

The next active player who will most likely break this mark is Harden’s teammate Russell Westbrook. The point guard currently has 24,728 career points.

Dennis Schröder recently broke the 10,000 career point mark.
