With Ja Morant back on the field, the Memphis Grizzlies are unstoppable and against Trae Young’s Hawks they added their third consecutive victory by winning their home field 125-119.
Morant scored 30 points and distributed 11 with 14/25 shooting from the field; and his teammate Desmond Bane stood out with 37 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to his credit with six converted triples.
“We won tonight, but we aspire to much more and that’s what we’re playing for,” Morant told the media. ESPN.
«There is definitely more competitive spirit when you win. It’s just natural. “We feel very good right now and we continue to get our players back,” Bane added.
For his part, in the Hawks Trae Young made history with his 30 points and 13 assists. It was his seventh consecutive game with at least 30 points and 10 assists, equaling the legendary Oscar Robertson with the longest streak in the NBA. Robertson achieved it from December 1964 to January 1965, according to ESPN Stats.
