Bernhard Raimann and the Indianapolis Colts celebrated an important 30:13 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL) on Saturday (local time). The Colts thus defeated a direct competitor in the race for the play-offs.
The offensive tackle delivered a strong and error-free performance. For the Colts, who turned a 13-0 deficit into their eighth win of the season, quarterback Gardner Minshew shone with three touchdown passes and his best performance of the season. The next game is on December 24th at the Atlanta Falcons.
Detroit dispatches Denver
In the two other Saturday games, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Minnesota Vikings 27:24 after overtime. The Detroit Lions defeated the Denver Broncos 42:17. The outstanding player was Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who threw five touchdowns – three of them to rookie tight end Sam LaPorta – and 278 yards.

With its tenth win of the season, Detroit is almost certain to take part in the play-offs. Depending on the results of the competition on Sunday and Monday, this could happen before the next game against the Minnesota Vikings on December 24th. For the Lions it would be the first qualification for the play-offs since 2016.
