“I have responsibilities for the transformation” of Kolbe, recognizes Ramos

The Blues full-back spoke about his transformation blocked by the Boks winger, during the defeat in the quarter-finals of the last World Cup.

Guest this Thursday of the Super Moscato Show on RMC , the back of the Blues, Thomas Ramos, spoke of his transformation blocked by the South African winger Cheslin Kolbe, during the quarter-final of the last World Cup lost by the Blues. Two points which were costly, since France only lost by a very small point. “We do not lose the match on this transformation. We lost it in the first half, where we gave them points too easily, he explained, referring to the lost high balls which led to two Boks tries. I have responsibilities for transformation. But I don’t want to argue with Cheslin on the counter.»

The Stade Toulousain full-back also confided that this defeat was still painful and that we talk to him about it regularly. “When you meet people, they inevitably talk to you about it. But you have to move forward and be 100% for your club. (…) It’s not by rehashing everything that happened this fall that it will move you forward», he judges.

And to add: “Personally, it’s gone. It’s a defeat, it will remain. But there are other objectives arriving with Stade Toulouse and the XV of France.» Fabien Galthié’s Blues will meet at the end of January to prepare for the next Six Nations Tournament which will begin on Friday February 2 with a clash in Marseille against Ireland.
