The technical director Gustavo Costas confirmed his return to Racing Clubupon arriving at noon this Friday at the Savoy Hotel in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Congreso to sign his one-year contract in a meeting with the president of the institution, Victor White.
“Happy to return home, for me it is a dream to have this opportunity again”declared the former central marker in dialogue with the press who was standing guard at the site of the conclave.
Costas, 60 years old, had as his last work history a stint of almost a year with the Bolivian national team, after a successful career in South American soccer, where he was champion with Alianza Lima of Peru, Cerro Porteño of Paraguay, Barcelona of Ecuador and Independent Santa Fe of Colombia.
Starting next year he will begin his third cycle as Racing Manager, which he already directed between 1999 and 2000 and then in 2007.
