Good news for the six nannies

After days of police custody and several returns from the prosecution, the manager and founder of the “Keur Yeurmandé” nursery was placed under arrest warrant on December 28 by the senior judge Oumar Maham DIALLO. We do not currently know the offenses targeted by the investigating magistrate, but, during the arrest of Ndella Madior Diouf by the urban security police, the offenses of “criminal association, mistreatment, endangerment of infants, illegal practice of medicine, operation of a nursery without administrative authorization and human trafficking” were brought against her.

Concerning the six nannies, namely Awa Mbaye, Fanta Cissokho, Fatou Sène, Sadio Keita, Anta Sarr and Yacine Sow, they are placed under judicial supervision. These nannies escaped detention. After their face to face with the senior judge, they benefited from judicial review, unlike their boss Ndella Madior Diouf who was sent to prison.

But, even if they return home, heavy charges weigh on these women charged with complicity in human trafficking, illegal exercise of the function of doctor, deprivation of food or care leading to death without intention of causing it. , endangering the lives of others, failure to assist persons in danger, complicity in manslaughter, improperly obtaining certificates for the purpose of burial and violations of the laws on burials.
