Golfer Rahm is headed to the LIV Series for hundreds of millions of dollars from the PGA Tour, according to the media

This year’s Masters winner and world No. 3 player could be one of the biggest stars the LIV series could pull from the PGA Tour. In the past, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau or Phil Mickelson left the previously dominant tour.

According to the media, LIV intends to establish Rahm’s own team, in which he would receive an equity stake. They are also reportedly luring other players from the PGA Tour into it.

PGA Tour and LIV representatives announced in June that they intend to agree on cooperation. The contract deadline expires on December 31. How the negotiations will affect Rahm’s eventual departure is unclear.

Rahm has had the most successful season of his career, winning three more tournaments in addition to the Masters. He also helped Team Europe win the Ryder Cup in the fall. So far, he has been an advocate for the PGA Tour and has been critical of LIV.
