Supported since 2022 by the staff of the Archers of Sévérac-d’Aveyron, the “ArcPacte” project, labeled Impact 2024 by the Paris 2024 Endowment Fund, continues in its implementation. Sometimes it is aimed at children from families helped by the Restos du Cœur, sometimes it is aimed at young adults.
Saturday December 16, around ten young people accompanied by the Local Mission of South Aveyron were able to discover this sporting discipline in the Cap Vert gymnasium in Saint-Affrique. These courses have several objectives: regain self-confidence, develop this physical activity for good health, greater concentration, respect and the desire to always better achieve the challenges offered.
A large number of neophyte archers in their twenties agreed to discuss activities and the supervision of younger people in the future, in addition to shooting sessions lasting two hours. Most of the trainees plan to continue this discovery of archery during a new session in February 2024. Why not, one day, join a club in southern Aveyron.
