Durant’s Frustration in Phoenix: Bradley Beal’s Injuries and Weak Role Players

This is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN. “If you talk to the people in Phoenix, you know they can feel Durant’s frustration,” Wojnarowski said on NBA Countdown on the sidelines of the Christmas Games. Woj cited Bradley Beal’s injuries and the weak role players as reasons.

“They don’t have any assists or draft picks to improve the team,” the ESPN man continued. “They have to manage that now. Durant knows this from Brooklyn and knows how small a title window can be. This team has to win and, the way it is put together, very quickly. (…) There is a lot at stake for the Suns at the moment .”

Beal has only played six games this season and was hardly able to impress. The shooting guard is currently out again and is not expected back until January. In his six games, Beal averaged just 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists. His points average is as low as it was in his rookie season in 2012/13.
