Jesi (Ancona), 8 December 2023 – With his license revoked and an oral warning from the police commissioner, he starts driving with a baseball bat in the car: the local police catches him and reports him. He was surprised by a local police patrol in the Porta Valle area where local police officers, as part of the territorial control services, ordered a Lancia Y to stop, driven by a man known to the command because he had already been sanctioned for being found driving without a license and reported for resisting a public official, with an oral warning from the police commissioner. At the check, the man – a 54-year-old from Jesi – showed signs of nervousness that pushed the officers to carry out a thorough check of the vehicle. The officers identified a 74 centimeter baseball bat, in the immediate availability of the 54-year-old. The bat was criminally seized and the man reported on the loose, not only for illegal possession of objects capable of offending, but also for being subject to a personal prevention measure while driving a vehicle with a revoked license. The small car was also seized for confiscation purposes.
