It is Dominique Barra Ardiles, judoka from the North American (13) College and the #INDArica Promesas Chile program, who won silver in the -40 category of the Sudamericano Escolar judo competition that is being held in the Parque Estadio Nacional.
«When I arrived in Santiago I was very nervous. But at the inauguration, seeing that so many people supported us, I decided to make the following phrase my own: we must all protect the house. That was my conviction and with it I faced the competition. Although I played the final against a very strong Brazilian, my goal is still gold. And since I’m just 13 years old, I hope to have my revenge next year and win the gold medal there. “Now to continue training very hard,” he said.
