Disappointing Results in League 2 Group A: PSMS Medan Held to a Draw and PSDS Deli Serdang Slaughtered by Persiraja Banda Aceh

Three matches in League 2 Group A week 13 were completed. The result was that PSMS Medan was held to a draw by PSPS Riau and PSDS Deli Serdang was slaughtered by Persiraja Banda Aceh.

The PSMS match against PSPS was presented at the Baharoeddin Siregar Stadium, Deli Serdang, Saturday (9/12/2023). At that time the match ended with a score of 0-0.

With these results PSMS failed to secure a ticket to qualify for the top 12. PSMS’ fate will be determined when they visit Sriwijaya FC headquarters.

These results also disappointed PSMS Medan supporters. They were seen throwing PSMS Medan coach Miftahun Mukson, damaging a number of facilities in the stadium.

In another match, Sada Sumut FC hosted Semen Padang FC at the Baharoeddin Siregar Stadium, Deli Serdang, Sunday (10/12). The match ended with a score of 1-1.

The hosts took a quick lead in the 4th minute through Hamzah Tito. Semen Padang then responded through Ihwan in the 30th minute.

Meanwhile, in the last match, PSDS was slaughtered by Persiraja Banda Aceh with a score of 1-5. The match was presented at Harapan Bangsa Stadium, Banda Aceh, Monday (11/12).

PSDS actually took the lead in the 13th minute through Kurniawan. However, Persiraja managed to get 5 goals back each through David Laly, Islom, Defri Rizki and Ferdinand 2 goals each.
