De’Von Achane Set to Join Explosive Dolphins Offense against Washington Commanders

The running back joins the explosive offense led by Tagovailoa, McDaniel himself reported.

Mike McDaniel was not so definitive about the state of the deep Jevon Holland, who has been limited all week with injuries to both knees. The third-year star was at practice Friday and did not appear to have any braces on either knee, but McDaniel noted that, as usual, the team will err on the side of caution.

“He’s been aggressively pursuing his rehabilitation and now knows he’s playing the best football of his career,” McDaniel said. “With Jevon, we have to be very smart knowing really what he means to our team as a leader, as a player and what he is capable of doing in our scheme. So we will be evaluating it. “I will be very cautious and I am not afraid to be patient and wise if it makes sense.”

“So I will be watching him closely, we will communicate and if he is not vulnerable to setbacks, he will play. “If it’s not quite ready, we’ll wait until another week.”
