Clément Noël Dominates First Round of Night Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio

Clément Noël likes the first rounds at the start of the season. After his initial 2nd place in Gürgl, the Frenchman did even better in Madonna di Campiglio since he dominated the first round of the night slalom. On the Italian track, the Vosges rider showed off his lightness and his quality in cutting through the ice to crush the competition on a very easy track. He is ahead of the Norwegian Timon Haugen and the Swiss Loic Meillard (+ 0”37) and the Bulgarian Albert Popov (+ 0”42) before the second round, to be followed live on Eurosport at 8:30 p.m.
