Alcaraz moved to the Ferrero Tennis Academy in Villena in 2019. The Murcian tennis player, like his coach, started living in a 25 square meter prefabricated house, which is a double room with a bathroom included. There he spent confinement due to the pandemic.

Being in Villena gives me that tranquility that I became accustomed to since I was 15 years old. Every year there is a public presentation of all the students to meet the new additions. Antonio Cascales recognizes that he needs time to learn all the names: “Living here makes us very much on top of the players.
