We had to wait almost a year and a half for the announcement of the anime BLUE BOX be made officially! The leaks were true!

Blue Boxor Ao no Hako In the original version, it is a shōnen manga by Koji Miura. Note that this is the author’s first series; who was previously assistance of Takeshi Hinata (Dream Team).
Since 2021, the series has appeared in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the publisher Shueisha. To date, 12 volumes have been published in Japan. In the magazine and in bookstores, the series is a great success! As evidenced by its regular rankings in the top 10 Oricon.
Taiki Inomata is a member of the men’s badminton team at school Eimei. He’s in love with a girl from the basketball team, Chinatsu Kano, alongside whom he trains every morning in the gym. However, his relationship with Chinatsu takes a different turn on a spring day.

Blue Box arrive en anime !
Once again, it is through a leaker that we learn that an anime Blue Box is in production. (Source)
The production team is still unknown. The same goes for the animation studio. No release date either. And as for a trailer… It’s still way too early! Let’s be patient!
EDIT from 11/19/2023: It’s official, BLUE BOX will have its anime!
In addition to this confirmation, we also received the first information regarding the adaptation. So, we know that these are Shoya Chiba et Reina Ueda who will respectively play Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano.

However, we have not had any announcement regarding the production team. You will therefore have to be patient before knowing which studio will be responsible for producing the animation!

On the occasion of Jump Festa ’24, we were able to have new information regarding the anime BLUE BOX !
First of all, it’s the studio Telecom Animation Film who will produce the animation. Afterwards, Akari Kitō Sera Hina Chono.
