Pilsen striker Rafiu Durosinmi is close to a transfer to Bundesliga’s Frankfurt. According to Bild newspaper, both clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of around nine million euros (about 222 million crowns). If the currently injured 20-year-old Nigerian passes a medical, he will sign a contract with the sixth team in the German league until the summer of 2028.
There has been speculation about Durosinmi’s transfer for a long time. The press spokesman of the West Bohemian club Václav Hanzlík told ČTK a week ago that Viktoria did not receive any specific and adequate offer for the team’s best scorer. According to Bild, the representatives of both clubs have now reached an agreement.
Eintracht Frankfurt completed the deal for Rafiu Durosinmi to join the club for €9m from Viktoria Plzen.

The native of Lagos underwent surgery for damaged ligaments in his knee in October and will not play until at least the end of the year. Before the injury, he scored six goals in this league season, adding three more goals in the preliminary rounds of the European Conference League.
Durosinmi came to Pilsen from Karviná in January on loan, which turned into a transfer in the summer. In the Czech top competition, the 192-centimeter-tall striker has 45 matches, 13 goals and six assists to his credit.
