Biathlon: at what time and on which channel to watch the third stage of the World Cup in Lenzerheide?

We left him last weekend on podiums snatched from the relays, in Hochfilzen. The French contingent finds itself a few days later in Switzerland, to compete in the third stage of the World Cup and end the year. The Tricolores will only compete in individual events at the Lenzerheide round, which will host the Worlds next year.

But the program remains dense, with on the menu: sprints, pursuits and the first mass starts. Even diminished by the Covid-19 infection of its new star Lou Jeanmonnot, the French team is aiming for the podium in all six races. The men are hoping to finally achieve individual success this year.

Flamboyant since the start of the season, Jeanmonnot will definitely not participate in the sprint. “Mission: to be operational for the mass start,” wrote the French biathlete on Instagram. Since she will not start the sprint on Thursday, the Doubiste will therefore miss the pursuit on Saturday. The mass start, the first of the season, is scheduled for Sunday.

The Lenzerheide stage program. Thursday December 14: ladies sprint (2:15 p.m.). Friday December 15: men’s sprint (2:15 p.m.). Saturday December 16: women’s pursuit (12:45 p.m.), men’s pursuit (2:40 p.m.). Sunday December 17: women’s mass start (12:30 p.m.), men’s mass start (2:45 p.m.).

All events will be broadcast on the L’Équipe channel and Eurosport 1.
