The ways to celebrate Christmas are as many and as varied as there are people in this world, from the most traditional celebrations to the avant-garde, purposeful, and innovative ones. Here are these two sample buttons:
Pachecas to Belén
38 years ago in the living room of the actor Sergio Cassani’s house, and with just 15 minutes of duration, this very, very, very irreverent and very, very very funny pastorela premiered, which today, with an adequate duration (90 minutes) makes season in these December celebrations.
Under the production of Alonzzo Producciones and with the direction of Checho Alazcuaga, Pachecas a Belén tells the adventures of Blandina, Severina and Luminosa, three “innocent” shepherd girls who from time to time like “miraculous and not so holy” herbs and in On one of those “trips”, the sexy archangel Gabriel appears to them to announce that the Messiah is about to be born, and that they should go and meet him.
These three characters prepare the itacate and embark on the adventure, but along their way all kinds of situations and conflicts will break out, as in any family, which will cause grudges, differences and personal interests to surface between them, and an evil character. The one from Moño will take advantage of this to put ideas into each of them, and thus put them in trouble, complicating their mission of reaching their destination.
Participating in this season are Ramsés Molina, Deborah La Grande; Checho Alazcuaga, La Coña; Samuel Zarazúa, The Angel; Julls Granados, La Lupe and David Rodvel.
Pachecas a Belén is presented at the Teatro de la República from December 25 to 29 at 8:30 p.m.

Now, that musical triumphs in Mexico in a staging headed by Adal Ramones, who gives life to this fearsome character. Adal shares the stage with actors with long and solid experience in musicals such as Axel Alcántara, Mauricio Hernández, Eduardo Ibarra, and Angie Vega.
The stage direction and choreography are by Óscar Carapia and the musical direction by Analí Sánchez. A Christmas Story, the musical is presented at the San Rafael theater, until January 1, 2024.
