The city of Dakar will host an international training workshop in administration and management of badminton events from December 7 to 10, 2023. Benin is well present at this knowledge meeting. This, thanks to its representative Carlos Allamagbo.
Benin is indeed present at the international training workshop for badminton event administrators and managers. Initiated and supported by the World Badminton Federation in the legacy plan for the Youth Olympic Games which will take place in Senegal in 2026, this course organized by the Senegalese Badminton Federation in collaboration with the African Badminton Confederation aims to equip the actors involved in the event management process. And, Benin is very present through Carlos Allamagbo, the first champion of Benin, former badista and member of the Executive Committee. He had the honor of being selected to benefit from this training.
Remember that the beneficiary is an important player in Beninese badminton. For several years and in the quest for his reconversion, he has invested enormously in supporting the actions of the Federation. BWF level 2 coach and specialist in organizational management, he is credited with the establishment of the Association of former bad players of Benin. He was able to single-handedly mobilize several former players and unite them around the ideal of developing badminton in Benin. He’s the handyman in the badminton house. Very dedicated and passionate, his presence in Senegal is a merit for his commitment and determination to raise Beninese badminton to the highest level in the organization.
