Belleville Town Hall Honors Athletes and Sports Values at Trophy Presentation

In order to put sport on the top of the podium, the town hall organized a trophy presentation in honor of the athletes and all those who are alongside them (clubs, coaches, parents, etc.).This is how on Friday December 15, municipal elected officials and athletes met within the Philippe-Gardent gymnasium to share their victories and the values ​​of sport.

Dorine Jambon, 8th assistant, and Alain Mahuet 7th assistant, jointly hosted this presentation of medals and trophiesin the presence also of Alexandre Portier, deputy for the 9th constituency, who came “congratulate the city of Belleville which is extremely proactive in sport, with a lot of investment in sports equipment.” He said to himself “very confident for the future of sport in Belleville.”

Several Belleville sportspeople and clubs have therefore been distinguished, such as Triton clubthe judo club, skating, taekwondobaseball, dance, pétanque, gymnastics or even the AS of Aiguerande high school.

For the occasion, Maxence Mey, triathlete and winner of the Iron Man of Tangier, shared his experiences, as did the double world roller skating champion Valentin Thiebault, in video for its part, under the attentive gaze of all the athletes present. Finally Fréderic Pronchéry reminded the assembly that “the sport always starts locally. Sport helps develop perseverance, fraternity, competition, and diligence..”
