Football Luk Vanderschommen died in Bruges on Friday. The former goalkeeper of Cercle Brugge and KV Kortrijk made a name for himself as a penalty specialist. Not because he kept eleven meters out of his net, but because he kicked them in at the other end. And not so few: 22 pieces, a record in Belgium. Vanderschommen, who comes from the Kempen, ended his career as a goalkeeper at RWDM and was also a trainer in the first division at KV Kortrijk. He was barely 69 years old.
