The Leicester player’s contract ends and his name is on the table

There is a lot of competition, but Barça positioned itself well in the past

Barça is going to go to the summer market to sign a top midfielder. The way that wins the most is to reinforce yourself with a player with muscle and good positioning who can play in front of the defense and take work off the more technical players. There are several names on the table and the Blaugrana club keeps open the option of Wilfred Ndidi, a Leicester footballer whose contract expires at the end of the season and will not renew. There is a lot of competition for the Nigerian international, but Barça already wanted him in the past and they are well positioned.

The Blaugrana club is already working knowing that there will not be too much money to invest, so it is quite unlikely that a first sword will be eligible for the position. The names of Zubimendi or Kimmich are absolutely ruled out because Barça cannot pay the valuation figures for these players and, in the case of the German, cannot register their record. That is why the sports area manages a good list of affordable footballers and Ndidi is marked in red for the benefits he has given in the Premier.

Ndidi was on Barça’s radar two seasons ago, but his valuation exceeded 60 million euros and there was no way to sign him. The player is the undisputed starter at Leicester, a team that was relegated to the Championship, and for now he has not renewed although nothing is ruled out. Leicester are leading the table and will most likely be promoted and they are trying to retain them no matter what if they return to the Premier.

There are several teams that are testing their incorporation of the footballer and Juventus has made progress in the negotiations but nothing has yet been decided. Sevilla has also asked and the most powerful teams in the Premier also want him in their portfolio, but the footballer could prioritize leaving England. In three weeks he will be able to freely negotiate his future.
