Artūrs Šilovs Leads Abbotsford Canucks to Overtime Victory with 30 Saves

Latvian goalkeeper Artūrs Šilovs saved 30 shots in the American Hockey League (AHL) match on Thursday and helped the Abbotsford Canucks win in overtime. “Canucks” beat Calgary “Wranglers” on the road with the result 4:3 (0:1, 2:1, 1:1, 1:0).

Shilov saved 30 of 33 pucks thrown by opponents. This season, the Latvian goalkeeper participated in 17 games, celebrated ten victories, allowed an average of 2.64 innings and saved 91.0% of shots.

The “Canucks” are in third place in the Western Conference with 36 points in 27 games, while the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton “Penguins” represented by Raivy Anson are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 33 points in 29 games, the Charlotte “Checkers”, whose ranks are played by Uvis Balinskis, have 31 points in 27 ranks eighth in matches.
