Angelo Rappelli becomes Regional Archery Champion in 3D Discipline

Angelo Rappelli, standard bearer of the Frecce Apuane Company, became regional archery champion of the 3D discipline. The competition took place at the Montevarchi Crossodromo on a very technical course, masterfully set up by the Arcieri Valdarno company. The archer from Massa first managed to win the right to compete in the final phase of direct clashes for the assignment of the regional title and subsequently prevailed in these last challenges, winning the title of Fitarco 3D 2023 regional champion in the bare bow division.

In the same event, the 3D team of the Compagnia Frecce Apuane also performed well, consisting of Giuseppe Gambino (compound bow), Angelo Rappelli (bare bow) and Giovanni Giorgi (long bow). The Apuan team managed to access the final phase in direct clashes where they only surrendered to the very strong team of the Archers of Pescia. With the Tuscan title won by Angelo Rappelli, the Frecce Apuane have put another trophy on the board in a decidedly positive year.

We remind you that the Apuan association has just won three Italian titles in the Italian Targa championships held at the end of August in Seravezza. At the beginning of 2023, however, he had won two Italian Indoor team titles. Finally, we must add the regional Hunter and Field title won by the national Valter Basteri, who is the spearhead of the team.
