Troubles are piling up for André Onana. At the center of criticism, the native of Nkol Ngok is not at the end of his troubles and is faced with a difficult dilemma which risks generating a lot of ink in the days to come. According to The Sunthe 27-year-old could miss all of the Red Devils’ matches until the end of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), i.e. 6 matches in total between January 13 and February 11. “A player summoned to one of the representative teams of his federation does not have the right, unless otherwise agreed with the said federation, to play on behalf of his club for the time that his release lasts or should have lasted”, specifies FIFA in its regulations.
