Vermeulen arrived at Anderlecht as a youth coach in 2006 and evolved into the role of Project and Academy Manager, working closely with Jean Kindermans.
In mid-November, Anderlecht confirmed that Kindermans left the club’s youth academy after seventeen years. The trio Mikkel Himmersam, Henk Mariman and Peter Verbeke will set the tone for youth work in the future.
“In the context of the new structure of the Academy, constructive discussions have been held with Kevin about future operations,” reports Anderlecht. “After careful consultation, it was decided to go our separate ways after a long and successful collaboration.”
