It was a busy weekend for maestro Accursio Guardino, technical manager of the judo sector of Furinkazan Ferrara since 2018 who, on Saturday at the “PalaPellicone” of Lido di Ostia in Rome, brilliantly passed the 5th dan Fijlkam black belt exam, adding an important step in his career as a judoka.
“I am very excited about the goal that, with sweat, commitment and effort, I managed to reach – comments maestro Guardino excitedly –. For me it is a great satisfaction, but also a further responsibility towards my young students who are growing together to me”.
Accursio Guardino, born in 1956, began practicing judo at the age of 20 and throughout his career was an athlete of the “Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Gialle” of Rome and of the “SGE Semper Avanti” of Bologna, becoming a coach in 2011, a federal instructor in 2015 and a master in 2021.
