Abdoulaye Harouna drops off his bags in Senegal. The versatile Nigerien guard will strengthen AS Douanes, the reigning Senegal champion, with a view to its participation in the next Basketball Africa League (BAL). He signed for one season.
Known on the continent for having proven himself with AS Salé first in 2022, then with Abidjan Basket Club during the BAL 2023, Abdoulaye Harouna will be a major reinforcement for the group of coach Pabi Gueye who will undoubtedly want to repeat his feat last season (BAL finalist). Born in Niamey, Niger, Harouna began his career at AS Nigelec.
He participated in the 2020 BAL qualifying tournaments before joining FAP Basketball to play in the inaugural BAL season. He wore the colors of AS Salé then ABC Fighters in 2023.
