Braunschweig. The tennis tournament with a supporting program will take place in the Bürgerpark Braunschweig from July 4th to 13th. The organizers have announced the first acts.
First serve for the 30th Brawo Open next year: In 2024, the tennis tournament in Bürgerpark will also be one of the top events in the global ATP Challenger 125 tournaments with prize money of 148,625 euros ($164,000). “It is one of the most highly endowed Challengers and the third largest clay court event in Germany,” explains Volker Jacke, tournament director of the Brawo Open in a statement. Visitors can expect a strong singles and doubles field of top German players who will meet numerous internationally known world-class players from July 7, 2024.
The musical supporting program starts early in the evening of July 4th: at the “White Night” some of the best regional DJs provide a party kick-off under the title “Allstar DJs”. Other popular celebration highlights on July 9th include the “
with the Royal Bavarian Vollgas Orchestra and “Ladies Night” on July 11th. The United Kids Foundation Family Day will also take place on July 7th with lots of activities for children – the dogs from Paw Patrol (known from Super RTL/Nickelodeon) will be there live as star guests.
Brawo Open 2024: Michael Schulte, Markus and Matze Knop are among the acts
But some concert dates have already been set: the musical kicks off on July 5th Michael Schulte. The singer-songwriter is known for his successful participation in “The Voice of Germany” and the “Eurovision Song Contest”, in which he reached fourth place in 2018.
You can take a colorful, musical journey back in time to the 80s on July 10th with Neue-Deutsche-Welle-Star Markus do: He presents the “I want fun” show, in which bands such as Geier Strichflug and UKW also take part, which was already seen at the Old Town Festival in Salzgitter-Bad this year.
You can have even more fun on July 8th Matze Knop experience. In his new program “Mut zur Gap” the comedian, presenter and impersonator delivers entertainment including cult parodies from Cristiano Ronaldo, cult Kloppo to Dieter Bohlen. More musical acts are being planned and will be released soon.
