2023 Baja Judo Cup: Tijuana CAR to Host Most Important Judo Event in the Region

The CAR of Tijuana will receive hundreds of athletes to participate in the most important judo event in the region.

Ensenada, Baja California.- Everything is ready for the Tijuana High Performance Center to once again host the 2023 Baja Judo Cup, which will take place this Saturday, December 16 and is organized by the Baja California Judo Association, in coordination with the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of Baja California.

Hundreds of judokas from across the region will gather at the complex managed by INDEBC to celebrate the most important judo event in Baja California, which will feature the participation of CONADE 2023 National Medalist athletes.

The tournament that will start at 10:00 a.m. will qualify for national championships and towards the CONADE Nationals process, and will also be subject to the current regulations and statutes of the Mexican Judo Federation, AC, and the International Judo Federation.

The weigh-in for the athletes prior to the competition will take place this Friday, December 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ciudad Deportiva Gymnasium in Mexicali, at the CAR in Tijuana and at the CAR in Ensenada.

The categories that will participate are pre-infant, infant, youth, junior and first force in their different weight and branch divisions. On the other hand, the event has a cost of 650 pesos per athlete and trophy and/or medals will be awarded to the first three places in each division.
