Zverev Looks to the Future: Training, Vacation, and the 2024 Tennis Season

“I have to look at the big picture. Being back like this after such an injury is a success. I’m happy about it. The longer the season lasted, the better I played,” he explained on the “Sky” microphone.

Now we’re going on vacation to the Maldives, but Zverev wants to start training again at the beginning of next week because: “I love being in the gym and seeing progress. So for me it’s a vacation somewhere.”

The new season is actually not too far away, that’s how it is in professional tennis. The German number one wants to take part in the United Cup, a mixed tournament in Perth and Sydney, which begins on December 29th. The Australian Open, the first highlight of the tennis year 2024, begins on January 14th.
