Wöber-Club Gladbach dispatches Wolfsburg

Borussia Mönchengladbach has continued its upward trend and exacerbated VfL Wolfsburg’s earnings crisis. The “Foals” won 4-0 against Lower Saxony at the start of the eleventh round of the German Bundesliga on Friday.

For Gladbach, who also benefited from a serious mistake by Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels, it was the fourth competitive game in a row without defeat. Maximilian Wöber was replaced by the winners in the 82nd minute.

Wolfsburg – without the injured Patrick Wimmer and with Pavao Pervan on the bench – has been waiting for a win in the league since the end of September. Tomas Cvancara (16th), Rocco Reitz (42nd), Franck Honorat (64th) and Alassane Plea (71st) scored the goals for the hosts.
